Swing Plane
In this sequence the ball position rods are used in conjunction with rods that help to indicate the correct swing plane. Place a rod in the ground directly behind the ball (using the special adaptor in your kit) and parallel to the shaft of the club at the address position (far enough away where you won´t hit it on your backswing).

During the backswing, when the club is parallel to the ground the shaft should also be parallel to the rod along your feet (ensure that the toe of the club is pointing towards the sky).

The next check point is when your left arm is parallel to the ground, the shaft of the club should be parallel to the rod in the ground.

The process is the same for irons and woods, only the angle of the shaft in the ground will change according to what club you´re using.
